Water Repellent Finishing Of Spunlace Non-woven Polyester Fabric And Performance Testing

Water repellent non-woven fabric is mainly used for surgical clothing, disinfecting premises wearing protective clothing, with easily biodegradable, no-clean, hygiene and safety, so, as the "SARS" and "bird flu" have occurred, and waterproof protective clothing made from non-woven fabric has good market prospects. Polyester spun-laced nonwovens, model U31665 (Zhejiang Xinhua paper Holdings Limited).

DF-3000 fluorine containing waterproofing agent, emulsion white, weakly cationic, pH value of 4. 0~5. 0 (1% solution), water solubility, primarily composed of organic fluorine compounds; Eagle printing paint, blue, Superfine powder dispersion agent, nonionic starch binders, modification of phosphate monoester starch and anionic; polyvinyl alcohol (PVA).

Dip a rolling (expression 70%-180) a pre-drying (120-130 oC) baking (160~180℃, l~3 mln). DF. 3000 ratio diluted with deionized water.

Fabrics for military combat clothing and some ships requires not only breathable but fabrics can do a certain amount of pressure to ensure the waterproof j in wetlands and water. In accordance with GB 5553-1985, hydrostatic test, to test non-woven fabric water-resistant performance.

2 results and discussion

2. 1 influence of mass concentration on the properties of water and water repellent finishing agent with DF. 3000 respectively, making 5, 8, 10, 20 g/l water repellent finishing agent for treatment of non-woven cloth, baking in the 130~135℃-3 min,170-175 c baking 1 min.
